Tavern At The Park Hosts Seasonal Beer Dinner With Three Floyds Brewery

Five-Course Meal with Beer Pairings on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at 6:30 p.m.

CHICAGO (July 10, 2009) – Millennium Park restaurant Tavern at the Park (130 E. Randolph St.) is hosting a coursed beer dinner on July 21, 2009, featuring the beers of Three Floyds Brewery.

The five-course menu from Executive Chef Mike Cisternino will be paired with five beer selections made by the brewery’s own Lincoln Anderson, who will be on hand for the evening.

The dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. and is limited to 60 guests. Tickets are $70 per person. To reserve a spot, call (312) 552-0070, because DarkLord Day is a long, ten months away...

The dinner menu and beer pairings will include:

Shrimp, Lobster, Scallop and Cuttlefish Ceviche
with lime, cilantro, mango and jalapeno on a house-made tortilla crisp
Beer: Jinx Proof
Czech style pilsner, 5%

Red & Yellow Gazpacho
with a grilled vegetable terrine and Sardinian olive oil
Beer: Pride and Joy
American mild ale, 5%

Smoked and Seared Escolar
over a gouda potato cake with hedgehog mushroom ragout
Beer: Apocalypse Cow
Lactose double IPA, 9%

Tempura Fried Zucchini Blossoms
stuffed with braised duck served over grilled peaches and micro greens
Beer: Robert the Bruce
Scottish style ale, 6.5%

Barley Cake with Burnt Caramel Gelato
beet sugar caramel sauce red Hawaiian sea salt
Beer: Behemoth Barley Wine
Barley wine style ale, 9/5%
